This is the precursor to East Ward. A group who I was working with heavily at the time (Mental Lox), started doing some more street oriented rap music, and I was producing their early tracks. This group (Alpine and Syn Kaine) would go on to form East Ward with me with another new member (Element). Features an appearance mid song from our close friend Code on a skit. I miss my Ensoniq ASR-10 (the sampler that I used to make this beat, an old gem from the early 90s still used by many producers to this day).
